Introduction
University of Turbat has organized a two days “Job Fair” event at “Doda Rasheed Academic Block of UoT” aiming to link the Public and Private Sector Organizations to Academia of Turbat University and to bridge the gap between the need of human resources from market and what the Academia offers. Approximately more than seventeen (17) firms from private and public sector were invited to participate in the event and Gwadar Development Authority was also participated representing the public sector.
Opening Ceremony
All the teams of the participating organizations were gathered in the conference hall of University of Turbat, whereat the representatives introduced their respective organizations.
The Deputy Director of Human Resources at Gwadar Development Authority (GDA) expressed heartfelt thanks to the Vice Chancellor of University Of Turbat on behalf of the Director General of GDA, for inviting them to such an exceptional event. He also extended appreciation to the faculty and the “Management Sciences” team for their efforts in organizing the inaugural “Job Fair” at the campus. Then after,

All the seventeen organizations from private and public sector have organized Facilitation Desk among them Gwadar Developments Authority’s Desk was most prominent Desk to Facilitate the Academia.
Team GDA has presented the vision of Gwadar Development Authority to transform Gwadar into a Vibrant and Smart Port City for Investment and Tourism.
We have presented the major public projects undertaken by GDA in Gwadar Smart Port City Master Plan jurisdiction what makes positive impact on the life of indigenous population of Gwadar and the also projected the ongoing projects under developments and shared the future plans for Central Business District and other projects of vital importance for socioeconomic development of the country.
Hiring Interns
GDA HR Team participated in the job Fair, During the event, most students expressed interest in joining GDA as interns. The HR team provided clear guidance on the application process for the paid internships and informed students about the opportunity for internships on a non-stipend basis, which could be arranged upon request by the university for groups of students.

we had the pleasure of attending the University of Turbat’s Job Fair 2024, The job fair was well-organized and efficiently managed. Registration was quick on university web partial, and the event staff were helpful and approachable, making the entire process seamless from start to finish.
One of the highlights of the job fair was the diversity of employers present. Many recruiters took time to review resumes and provided constructive feedback, which was greatly appreciated. While the event was successful, there are a few areas where it could be improved. For example, offering more interactive features, such as on-site job interviews or skills assessments, could provide more immediate opportunities for the Graduates.
